According to Industry News Daily:
A new report from Accenture reveals that 95% of South African leaders (versus 83% globally) think that e-commerce is growing faster than they can adapt, and are finding it costly to be where customers are.
Well, e-commerce is becoming complicated for businesses, especially South African companies. They're dealing with old technology, not enough skilled workers, and systems that don't work well together.
To make things worse, top international e-commerce companies are coming into the market, so the competition is tougher.
Although a few companies are expanding in e-commerce: Accenture calls them "Champions". These “Champions” are making huge amounts of money and growing faster because they're focusing on what their customers want and using new technology in diverse ways.
Accenture's report is a roadmap for companies globally. It shows you what you need to do to succeed in e-commerce.
